Lily Allen shares surprising detail on her and husband David Harbour’s sex life

The British pop star didn’t shy away from the details

Lily Allen is a household name, but there are things in her household that I’m sure her husband David Harbour would like to stay there!

The British pop star runs a pretty well-known podcast called Miss Me? with co-host, TV presenter, and friend, Miquita Oliver, and it was here where listeners were able to tune into a surprising detail about her and David’s sex life…

Lily and David met through the celebrity dating app Raya – a private, membership-based, social network application which was launched in 2015 to help celebrities looking for love.

That was in 2019, and just a year later the pair tied the knot in Las Vegas – less than 12 months after moving in together.

Now, David – an actor best known for his role as Sheriff Jim Hopper in the iconic Netflix series Stranger Things – lives in Brooklyn with Lily and her two daughters Ethel and Marnie – aged 12 and 11 respectively.

A smitten David spoke to GQ in 2022, explaining that he fell for Lily just three dates in – in the meantime Lily was Googling ‘how many dates are you meant to go on before you sleep with someone’, adding: “I think English was five and American was seven.”

Describing her sex life on the podcast- where the theme of the episode was ‘kink’ after one of their listeners asked if they had ever ‘kink-shamed’ anyone – Lily revealed that David was in no way sheepish when it came to the bedroom.

She offered up some surprising insight to their relationship, saying: “I wonder if I kink-shame my husband. Because he quite often asks for things, and I’m like: ‘No, babe, it’s not happening’.”

She continued to say: “I’m not like: ‘You piece of s***, how dare you ask me to do that!’ I’m just like: ‘Hmm, headache. Little headache, got a bit of a headache – maybe not tonight’.”

During the course of the revealing podcast she mentioned how open-minded she is and that she is very ‘into’ normalizing everything that people are ashamed about in themselves.

She added: “I was talking to David about this last night; during the breakdown of my last marriage, I was very, very promiscuous and experimental, and I had sex with female sex workers.”

I suppose everyone has their own preferences – each to their own, David!
