Jordan Chiles is that girl!

The 23-year-old gymnast, a standout at the 2024 Paris Olympics, opened up about her iconic Beyoncé-inspired leotards in the Aug. 1 episode of Vogue’s podcast The Run-Through.

At the 2024 U.S. gymnastics championships, Chiles debuted two leotards that emulated Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance World Tour style. As the gold medalist explained to hosts Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle, she was inspired to recreate the tour looks after attending the Grammy-winner’s show in Houston.

“It inspired me so much that I literally went on her social media, went through her whole entire Instagram account to find these outfits,” Chiles recalled. “I was like, ‘I have to make a Beyoncé-themed Renaissance tour for gymnastics.’ ”

“This is me. This is who I am. That’s where I got the motto. I’m that girl,” she continued, referencing Beyoncé’s Renaissance track, “I’m That Girl.”

Chiles ended up choosing two looks to recreate — a multicolored Pucci catsuit and a glittering bodysuit with a white feather cape by Bronx and Banco.

“I wanted to give a crazy side because I have a crazy side, but I also wanted to give elegance,” the gymnast explaine

When it came to creating the leotards, Chiles turned to sportswear brand and USA Gymnastics partner GK Elite.

“I got the demos back and I honestly melted. I started crying. I said, There’s no way that they were able to figure this out in a leo form.’ And they did,” the athlete said.

She continued, “And when I got the actual leos in my hand, I cried even more because I was like, ‘There’s no way that this is, like, all coming to life.’ It just worked.”

Chiles told Nnadi and Malle that she doesn’t know if Beyoncé has seen the Renaissance-inspired leotards, but the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer did send the gymnast well wishes ahead of the Olympic Games.

Earlier this month, Chiles shared a framed copy of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album art on her Instagram Stories with a personal note from the singer written in silver marker.

“Congrats to you Queen. Always watch you with pride and admiration,” Beyoncé wrote. “Thank you for reppin’ us. Good luck to you.”

On another corner of the photo, the singer wrote, “All of your hardwork and sacrifice shines bright. Praying for you and wishing you the best.”

She finished off the message with, “Love, your twin Beyoncé.”

“Ahhhh!! I’m screaming right now!! Y’all Beyoncé sent me this and I’m crying,” Chiles wrote over a photo of the heartfelt gift.
